April 21, 2010 Managing Partner of Stas Marketing Partners Andrei Stas spoke at Interregional Scientific and Practical Conference Place Marketing: contemporary experience of promoting municipalities and regions with presentation on "Cities branding as a strategic tool to adapt to changing socio-economic environment".

The conference was organized by the Center for Business Development of Tver (Russia) with the support of the Administration of Tver Region, the International Association of Interregional Marketing Centers and the Alumni Association of the Presidential Program for Menegement Development. The participants of the comference were representatives of the municipalities of Tver Region, marketers and researchers. Among the speakers - leading specialists in the field of place marketing from different regions of Russia.

In his presentation, Andrei Stas developed previously presented views on the place branding, previously described in his book "The New heraldry: how countries, regions and cities create and develop their brands."
